He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Earl and Lillie Bell Moore; his wife Margaret Moore; and his siblings, Joseph Moore, James Moore (Hopper), Joyce Britton and Nell Robinette.
He is survived by: his daughter Carey Thompson (Dwayne); his grandchildren, Ashely Vaughan, D. J. Thompson and Tiffany Thompson; his great grandchild Kinsley Palmer; and his sister Linda Wiseman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
