She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Bernard and Isabel Josephine Lang; and her sister Josephine Ellen Morse. She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Valentino; her son-in-law Joseph of Charlotte, NC; her son Robert Allan Tierney, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Kathy of Chester, VA; her sister Ann Ellis; her brother-in-law Billie of Houston, TX; her brother Thomas Lang; her sister-in-law Shelly Broussard of Austin, TX.; her grandchildren, Meredith Tierney Shields (Christopher) of Washington, DC and Matthew Alan Tierney (Lindsay Farrish); and her great grandchildren, Ainsley Elizabeth Ann Shields and Bowen Robert Reynier Shields. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
