She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucille Hill, Sr. and Roman Sr. Hill; and her siblings, Richard Hill, Roman Hill, Jr., Florence Greene, Robert Lee Hill, Pearl Lewis, Vernard Hill, Dorothy Bethune and James Hill, Sr..
She is survived by: her husband Wilbert Williams of Chester, Virginia; her children, Wenonah Washington (Ronnie) of Chester and Eric Harris of Clinton, Maryland; her grandchildren, Kayla Washington (Bernard) of Upper Marlboro, Kierra Washington of Los Angeles and Kennedi Harris of Chesapeake Beach, Maryland.; her great grandchild Dondré Simmons II of Upper Marlboro, Maryland.; and her friends, Debra Harris, Priscilla Cayson, Charlotte Gibbs and Zina Woodson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request all monetary donations be made to the Tabernacle Baptist Church Bridging the Gap Building Fund, 418 Halifax Street, Petersburg, VA 23803 in memory of Bernice M. Williams.
