He is survived by: his parents, Carolyn Faye Garnett and Harold Thompson; his wife Candace Staton; his children, Tanisha Staton, Bryce Staton, Ryan Staton and Kendal Staton; his granddaughter Journei Sherel Wilson; his brother Tyshawn Taylor; his extended family, Rev. Phillip Knight, Sr., Margarett Knight, Lambsdell Garnett, Mary Burden, Phillip Knight, Jr., Tamara Knight, Phillip "Tre" Knight III and Kayla Knight; and his friends, Andre Bush, Kyle Joyner, Troy Long, Dave Williams, Raymond Williamson and Shane Moye.
