It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Aaron Anderson Roberts Jr. of Chester, Virginia, born in Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on January 6, 2024, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Tait Roberts; his parents, Gray Green Roberts and Aaron Anderson Roberts, Sr.; and his siblings, Mary Thweatt, Isabel Cochrane, Louis Roberts, Nancy Trout, Betty Martin and Elizabeth Neal.
He is survived by: his children, Downy Roberts-Gabay (Barry) of Richmond, Suzy Leger (Mike) of Powhatan, Jim Roberts (Kathleen) of Concord, NC, Cami Graham (David) of Richmond and Paul Roberts (Amy) of Powhatan; his grandchildren, Barry Gabay (Jen), Robert Gabay, Alan Duvall, Chris Duvall (Nina), Kevin Duvall, Alex Roberts, Sam Roberts (Ashley), Forrest Gill (Luke), Jack Graham, Eli Roberts and Ian Roberts; and his great grandchildren, James, Rad Gabay, Mason, Mia Duvall, Chip, Ginny, Tait Gill, Lilly and Tait Roberts. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
