He is survived by: his wife Anna Mary Dowdy Roach; his children, Christie Motley (Wayne) of Sunbury, NC, Leslie Erickson (Bruce) of Nags Head, NC, Jason Roach (Stephanie) of Charleston, SC and Larry Higgerson (Angie) of Chesapeake, VA; his grandchildren, Ashlyn, Chelsi, Hutchinson, Molly, Heidi, Emma, Lilly, Kayla and Jacob; and his great grandchildren, Daioni, Ariya, Ashton and Ayva.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (1453 N Road St, Elizabeth City, NC 27909).
