It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stevie James Peacock (Chesapeake, Virginia), born in Portsmouth, Virginia, who passed away on March 19, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Shirley Sessoms, Mark C. Peacock, Matthew Larry Sessoms, Linwood Sessoms and Lee Albert Sessoms.

He is survived by: his wife Francine Peacock; his sister Minister Kay L. Peacock (Rita A. Sessoms); his children, Stevie J Peacock (Lachelle), Jonathan L Peacock (Mia) and Ashley N. Terry; his grandchildren, Lastasia Sutton (Damar), LaNiecia, Layana, Cassius, Aliyah, Jonathan and Skylar; and his great grandchildren, London and India Sutton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, friends; and his honorary family.

Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Graham Funeral Home (1112 Kempsville Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23320). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Life Church (423 Shell Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23323). A graveside service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens (6309 E Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23502).
