Shirley A. Zerbe Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley A. Zerbe (Chesapeake, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 18, 2025 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley A. Zerbe to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jason Frankenberry and Mildred Frankenberry; and her husband Rev. Palmer L. Zerbe. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Drake (Stephen), Rebekah Zerbe, Janet Kurtz (Jeffery), David Zerbe (Dorothy) and Mark Zerbe (Nanette); and her siblings, Janet Barker and Walter Frankenberry. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Alexander Baptist Church (4316 Pamela Ct, Chesapeake, VA 23321). A reception will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mission Partner Fund at Alexander Baptist Church.
