He is survived by: his children, Melvin Watson (Gloria) of Upper Marlboro, MD, Reginald Watson (Leeann) of Holiday, FL, Andre Watson (Rosa) of Suffolk, VA, Allen Watson (Mary) of Chesapeake, VA, Ricky Watson of Newport News, VA, Ronald Watson (Sheila) of Chesterfield, VA, Diana Davis (Alvin) of Portsmouth, VA, Bonnie Wells (Jason) of Dumfries, VA and Lisa Watkins (Michael) of Woodbridge, VA; his grandchildren, Nateace, Melvin, Jr., Joshalynn, Reginald Jr., Kelvin, Melissa, Marquita, Tonja, Alicia, Martina, Rishawn, Ryan, Martasia, Akia, Jason, Jr., Bianca and Michael, Jr.; his siblings, Elizabeth Ansari, Irene Fourqurean (Leroy) and Thomas Watson (Vivian); and his siblings-in-law, Isaac Williams, Geraldine Watson and Annie Cherry. He is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the J. T. Fisher Funeral Services (1248 George Washington Hwy N, Chesapeake, VA 23323). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St Mark Missionary Baptist Church (2714 Frederick Blvd, Portsmouth, VA 23704-6818).
