He was predeceased by: his parents, Marilyn Stout and William Stout; and his grandmother Agnes Beaty. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his stepchildren, Mike (Shannon), Lynn (Aaron) and Kristy (Edwin); his stepgrandchildren, Katelyn (Kyle), Remielle and Reyan; his siblings, Lisa (Bruce), Terisa (Steve) and William (Deb); his nieces, Ashley and Libby (Robert); his nephew Spencer (Victoria); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Myles, Adlee, Sophia, Robert, Hyatt and Evelyn.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Altmeyer Funeral Home (929 S Battlefield Blvd, Chesapeake, VA 23322). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery (5310 Milners Rd, Suffolk, VA 23434).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested any donations be made in support of the Dozoretz Hospice House of Hampton Roads which provided excellent care to Sonny.
