Richard Mayon touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Mabel Linton, Dicky Thomas, Linda Moore and Bobbie Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Thomas; his daughter Patricia Robinson; his son-in-law Gary Robinson; his grandson Richard J. Thomas; his daughter-in-law Melissa Thomas; his grandchildren, Wendy Butkowski, Sharon Butkowski, Gerrie Robinson, Nathanael Thomas, Rebbekah Thomas, Layla Thomas, Annabella Thomas, Hannah Wilaby, Tiffanie Fite, Sara McDaniel and Crystal McDaniel; his brother Jimmy Thomas; and his sister-in-law Katie Thomas. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oman Funeral Home & Crematory (653 Cedar Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23322). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
