He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert C. Leighton and Virginia Ann Webster Leighton. He is survived by: his wife Denise Lynn Conner Leighton; his children, Danielle Rae Rossman of Chesapeake, VA, Aaron Carl Leighton of Elizabeth City, NC and Daniel Connor Leighton of Chesapeake, VA.; and his brother James R. Leighton (Carolyn) of Virginia Beach, VA..
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Oman Funeral Home & Crematory (653 Cedar Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23322). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
