He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Fortin and Rhea Fortin. He is survived by: his former wives, Vina LaForm and Loretta Fortin; his son Rod Williams; his wife Betty Fortin; his children, Donald Fortin (Liz), Beth Trudell (Pete), Esther Fuller (Bill), James Fortin, Rhea Smith (Jerry) and Norman A. Fortin, Jr. (Angelina); and his grandchildren, Christy Jennings, Rachel, Christopher, Alison, Will, Mike, Jennifer, John, Rebecca, Crystal, Josh, Steven, Jessica and Natalee. He is also survived by grand kids, and 5 great-great grand kids, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens (6309 E Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23501). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Jolliff United Methodist Church (1900 Jolliff Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23321).
