She was predeceased by: her husband Author Joseph Alexopoulos; and her sons, Joseph Alexopoulos and David Alexopoulos. She is survived by: her children, Toni Olivia Metz (Clayton) of Norfolk and Bonnie A. Turner (Mike) of Chesapeake; and her sister Louise Higbee. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
