She was predeceased by: her parents, Carroll Thomas and Jacquelyn Perkins Thomas; and her brother Aubrey Langley Thomas. She is survived by: her husband C. Wilbur Alston; her daughter Patricia "Trish" Condrey (Tom); her sister Carolyn Spence (Chuck Goodwyn); her grandchildren, Amanda Cook, Stephen Huffman and Thomas Jenkins; her great grandchildren, Isabella Bass and Aubree Huffman; her grandsons, Tommy Jenkins and Stephen Huffman Jr.; and her nephews, Christopher Spence, Michael Spence, Shawn Thomas and Carroll Thomas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Graham Funeral Home (1112 Kempsville Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23320). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Azalea Garden Church (1541 Centerville Turnpike, Virginia Beach, VA 23464). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chesapeake Memorial Gardens (524 Cedar Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23322).
