It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mariana Manzione Stephens of Chesapeake, Virginia, who passed away on March 31, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Manzione and Addie Hancock Manzione; her husband Alvis R. Stephens; and her sister Shirley Miano. She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Stephens, Amy Willett, Lori Palmatory (Erron) and Leslie Piper (Chapin); her grandchildren, Brandon Stephens, Connor Piper, Corey Piper, Ethan Palmatory, Kara Ellis and Evan Palmatory; her great grandchild Addie Stephens; her brother-in-law John S. Miano; and her aunt Sue Beck. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A Mass was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Catholic Church (522 High St, Portsmouth, VA 23704). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at the Olive Branch Cemetery (2 Cpl J M Williams Ave, Portsmouth, VA 23701).
