She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Francis and Ruby Headley-Alleyne. She is survived by: her husband Charles Patterson; her children, Sherwin, Caleb and Thomas Patterson; her daughters-in-law, Amy and Jarita; her stepchildren, Renee, Cheryl, Charles Jr., Carol and Tina; her grandchildren, Emily, Rayna, Alex, Tahira, Jacob and Lenox; her siblings, Jefferson, Sonia, Peirson and Perry Alleyne; and her sisters-in-law, Alicia, Patricia Alleyne, Vanessa Patterson and Norma Jean-Wall.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Graham Funeral Home (1112 Kempsville Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23320). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
She will be remembered for her unwavering support, her contributions to the community, and her dedication to family and friends.
