She was predeceased by: her sons, Roland Lawrence Ellis and Timothy Paul Ellis. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Mark Ellis and Christina Holly Ellis; her granddaughters, Madelynn Brooke Sourbrine, Makenzie Lynn Sourbrine and Morgan Taylor Sourbrine; her son-in-law Bret Allen Sourbrine; her sister Emma Jean Wilson; and her great grandchild Riley Ellis.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the W. J. Smith & Son Funeral Home (210 Harpersville Rd, Newport News, VA 23601). A graveside service was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Peninsula Memorial Park (12750 Warwick Blvd, Newport News, VA 23606).
