She is survived by: her spouse Jackie Lee Akers; and her children, Patricia Jones (Richard Jones), Elizabeth Harell, Pamela Huss (Richard Huss), David Akers, Jackie Akers, Richard Akers (Kimberly Akers) and Johnny Akers. She is also survived by her 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel (524 Cedar Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23322). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chesapeake Memorial Gardens (524 Cedar Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23322).
