He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Gregory and Katie Griffin; his son Jeffery Gregory; his grandson Montourious McPherson; his children, Susan McPherson, Claude Riddick (Cynthia), Myra Gregory Horton (Darrell), Derrick Harris, Keywonnie Gregory and Charnay Gregory; his grandchildren, Himi Evans, Jonthan Evans, Jalisha Gregory, Claude Savage, Devon Wilson, Derrick Harris Jr., Taashon Eatman, Aliyah Gregory, Ariel Gregory, Alexis Gregory, Xaireya Harris, Jordan Gregory, Christian Gregory, Kori and Khai Wynn; his siblings, Percy Gregory Jr., Regina Ferrell, Bobby Gregory (Lucille), Audrey Gregory, Brenda Whitaker (Leroy), Bennita Brown (Elwood) and Chyennesia Griffin; and his uncle Marvin Foreman Sr. of Chesapeake, VA..

He is survived by: his cousin George Gatling; and his goddaughter Zari Hoyt. He is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
