He is survived by: his wife Emma Clarine Felton; his children, Lisa Zacharay of Raleigh, NC, Beverly Zachary-Roberts of Durham, NC, Natalan Zachary of Woodbridge, VA and Carlton Zachary of Fulshear, TX; his children-in-law, Dino Roberto and Margaret Zachary; and his sisters-in-law, Victoria, Edith Britton, Lois Felton and Eva Williams. He is also survived by four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great great grandson.

Viewing was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Metropolitan Funeral Service (5605 Portsmouth Blvd, Portsmouth, VA 23701). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
