She was predeceased by: her father Arthur Willoughby, Sr.. She is survived by: her mother Carolyn Boone Willoughby; her husband Kenith Wayne Matthews; her son Richard E. Boyce, III (Gina) of Texas; her siblings, Arthur Willoughby, Jr. (Cindi) of Chesapeake and Linda Willoughby of Chesapeake; her grandson Richard E. Boyce IV (Holly); her nephew Josh Willoughby (Catherine); and her niece Sarah Hutton (Donnie).

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Portsmouth Boulevard Chapel (5201 Portsmouth Blvd, Portsmouth, VA 23701). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
