He was predeceased by: his parents, George C. Jewell and Penny Toler Jewell; his former wife Edna Turner Jewell; his wife Shirley Holloman Jewell; his stepson Sid; his daughter-in-law Donna Holloman; and his sisters, Rebecca Hare and Faye Temple.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debra J. Dow (Bob), Donna E. Jewell and Teresa J. Black (Steve); his grandchildren, Julia, Michelle Black, Nick and Jeremy Dow; and his stepchildren, Sherry Schucker (Jim), Sondra Cooke and Skye Holloman.
