We are sad to announce that on January 31, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Gary Wayne Parrish of Chesapeake, Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Douglas Parrish and Lula Grace Parrish; his wife Connie Haywood Parrish; his sons, Joey (Dawn), Brandon (Sarah) and Drew (Paige); and his grandchildren, Kelly, Connor, Colby, Jackson, Garrett, Ethan and Parker.
He is survived by: his sister Brenda Placenti (Joey). He is also survived by numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the R. W. Baker & Company Funeral Home and Crematory (5685 Lee Farm Ln, Suffolk, VA 23434). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Andrew Presbyterian Church (1885 Bridge Rd, Suffolk, VA 23433). A reception was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens (3920 Airline Blvd, Chesapeake, VA 23321).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Gary's name to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
