Though Evelyn Brindle may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Clayton Brindle and Ethel Brindle Rudd; her husband Claude R. Hoggard III; and her stepson Scott R. Hoggard. She is survived by: her half-brother John R. Rudd; her stepdaughters, Jenifer K. Anderson (John) and Stephanie W. Brown; and her stepgrandchildren, Hunter, Jorden (Kaitlyn), Ricky and Emma. She is also survived by six step-great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas Episcopal Church (233 Mann Dr, Chesapeake, VA 23322).
