She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace L. Moore and Virginia R. Moore of Decatur, GA.; her sister Candace L. Owens; her daughter Kerry E. McVey-Nelson; and her granddaughter Meagan A. McVey.

She is survived by: her husband Mickey McVey; her sons, Thomas M. McVey, Christopher K. McVey and Daniel P. McVey; her daughter-in-law Karen McVey; her nieces, Kathy Turner and Wendi Loggins; her grandchildren, Morgan, Ryan, Nathaniel, Colin and Madison; her great grandchild Charlotte; and her grandchild Later.
