It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Lee Etheridge of Chesapeake, Virginia, who passed away on February 4, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Edward Lee shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Edward Lee farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harrison Lee and Esther Mae Lee Etheridge; and his wife Renee Mayor Etheridge. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Stretar (John), Elizabeth Gettens (Chris) and Edward L. Etheridge, Jr. (Angela); and his grandchildren, Anthony Bowes, Jr., Shanna Coughenour, Jacob and Shawn Etheridge.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Oman Funeral Home (653 Cedar Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23322). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
