She is survived by: her husband John Melvin Layden, Jr.; her daughter Candace Williams (Shain); her granddaughters, Addyson Williams of Moyock and Reilly Hewitt of Moyock; her siblings, Deborah Wood Walker (Matt) and LJ Wood, Jr. (Tamra); her mother-in-law Hulda Layden of Chesapeake; her nephews, Parker, Matthew, Dane and Jordan (Cory); and her niece Chelsey.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Oman Funeral Home (653 Cedar Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23322).
