Delores (Dee) Wylie Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Delores (Dee) Wylie (Chesapeake, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 15, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Delores farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Delores is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest E. Wylie and Catherine A. Henderson; and her husband George Wylie. She is survived by: her children, Larry Wylie (Judy), Cathy and Debbie Park (Dave); her sister Marlene Allen (Ed Watson); her grandchildren, Tara Ratcliff, Chrisi Duman and Jessica Starling; and her great grandchildren, Jordan Ratcliff, Abigail Duman and Bradleigh Duman. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Chesapeake Chapel (1416 Cedar Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23322).
