She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Maxwell and David O'Dennis Maxwell; her husbands, John Lofton and Alexander Davis Sr.; her siblings, Margaret Blacken and Lawrence Maxwell; her grandparents, Bishop Samuel Mackey and Roselia Mackey; her children, Constance Parks, Joan Roberts, Veronica Rucker, Margaret Manley and John R. Lofton Jr.; her grandson George Smith; and her great grandchild Precious Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, Rev. Alexander Davis Jr. (Corliss) and Lawrence C. Davis; her nephew Lawrence Maxwell; her niece Cecelia Christian; her grandchildren, Roderick, Cortrell Davis, James Hall, Omar Williams, Derek Williams, Rev. Hugo Morrison (Tanika), Kyser Siscoe (Avonna), Veranda Davis, Yolanda Barrow (Cornelius), Kimberly Smith, Edith Burns, Ramona Smith, Dionne Roberts, Maria Mackey, Cheryl Smith (Michael), Sierra Hill (Phillip), Kia Siscoe (Clarence), Twe'Siscoe and Ebonee Powell; her great grandchildren, To'Nee, Tamia, Jahniya, Jonel, Runel, LaShawnda, Alexandria, Zhamir, Deandre, Marcus, Jordan, Jasmine, LaShawn, Xaniah, Fierra, TyVeion, Nehemiah, Rahlo and Aria Davis; her sons-in-law, Donnell Manley and Robert Parks; her goddaughter Terry Early (Bob); her caregivers, Antionette Franklin and Beverly Smalls; and her close friend Carol Downing.
