It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barry Wayne Hodges (Chesapeake, Virginia), born in Portsmouth, Virginia, who passed away on July 21, 2018, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Lindbergh B. and Myrtle G. Hodges; his siblings, Rhonda H. Surring (Roger), Susan H. Lawson (David) and David J. Hodges of Chesapeake; his nieces, Kristy L. Surring, Chelsea L. Brechtel and Mallorie E. Lawson; and his nephew Kevin M. Surring. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
