She is survived by: her husband Melvin Dever; her daughters, Karen Floyd Vaughan (Bill), Laurie Floyd Parrish (Bobby) and Aimee Floyd Frechem (Scott) of Chesapeake Virginia; her stepchildren, Reverend Paul Collins (Patty), Correen Johnson and Tracey Kane (Todd); her grandchildren, Lauren Parrish Harris, Hunter Parrish, Dylan Parrish, Alie Vaughan Decker, Caroline Vaughan, Amanda Frechem Goodwin and Dr. Joshua Frechem; and her great grandchildren, Sydney, Fletcher, Averly, Noah, Nicholas, Jack, James, Bruce and Rosie.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel (1485 Kempsville Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23464). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Kempsville Baptist Church (5204 Princess Anne Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23462).
