She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Eugene Parson and Virginia Louise Parson; her sister-in-law Charlene Parson; and her grandson Cameron Jackson. She is survived by: her children, Angel Choate Claggion and Cameron Choate; her brothers, Darrell Parson and Sheldon Parson (Rita); her grandchildren, Deandre Newby, Ava Choate Rippey, Alani Choate Claggion and India Jackson; and her sister-cousins, Janice Jackson, Sandra Bishop and Pam Blanco.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the J. T. Fisher Funeral Services (1248 George Washington Hwy N, Chesapeake, VA 23323). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the J. T. Fisher Funeral Services Chapel (1248 George Washington Hwy N, Chesapeake, VA 23323).
