He is survived by: his children, Albert III (Vera), Gregory Sr. (Wanza), Steven (Shantel) and Jacquelyn (Calvin); his grandchildren, Tiffany (Clayton), Gregory Jr., Quinnisha (Maurice), Stephen (Sharrie), Kimyatta, David, Kimani (Shakira), Larry Jr., Nailah, Saidah, Lareese and Serenity; his great grandchildren, Kayonna, Afflina, Dakota, Javon, Nijah, Morgan, Cameron, Zuri, Nasir, Dream and Gialani; and his siblings, Beatrice Wilkins, Claudette Cuffee, Constance Bailey, Ella Harrison (Charlie), Myrtle Hundley, Herman Flora and Edward Butts Sr. (Delois). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fitchett-Mann Funeral Services (1821 Liberty St, Chesapeake, VA 23324). The lying in state will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the New Central Baptist Church (700 Walker Ave, Norfolk, VA 23523). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
