James Earl Link Sr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Earl Link Sr. of Check, Virginia, who passed away on January 22, 2025 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Earl Link Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Link and Rheba Link; and his siblings, Joan Akers and Paul Link. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Dewald-Link; his children, Sonya Carr (Darrell), James E. Link, Jr. (Geneva) and Preston J. Link (Stephanie); and his siblings, Betty Reynolds, Mary Richardson, David Link, Brenda Hungate (Carl), Allen Link and Joyce Whitaker (Chris). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Gardner Funeral Home (202 E Oxford St, Floyd, VA 24091). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
