He is survived by: his wife Barbara Gibson Jones; his sons, Lonnie Franklin Jones of Danville, VA. and Scottie Dale Jones (Sharon) of Blairs, VA.; his siblings, Reverend LeRoy Jones (Lois), Charles Jones (Sis), Mary Wright, Posey Jones (Karen), Kathleen "Kitty" Kingston-Varian and Yvonne Jones-Byrd (Wayne); his grandson Reagan Atkins (Mindy); his great grandchildren, Holly Grace and Christian Atkins; and his pets, Sarge and Precious Jones. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
