He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Edward Dawson and Nellie McGregor Dawson; and his sister Faye Proffitt. He is survived by: his wife Cora Lee Brooks Dawson; his children, Jenny Dawson Eaton (N. G.) and Frederick Scott Dawson (Shannon); his brothers, Lee Dawson (Polly Jo) and Ed Dawson (A. S.); and his grandchild Grayson Eaton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
