She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Patterson and Myrtle Rowland Patterson; her husband Samuel Jerome Gauldin; her daughter Nancy Rigney; her grandson Jerome Rigney; and her siblings, Adell Perkins, Herman Patterson and Curtis Patterson.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Gauldin (Betty), Gary Gauldin (Tonya), Jo Ann Walker (Dennis), Sheila Easome and Sherri Hodnett (Joe); and her siblings, Howard Patterson (Susan), Danny Patterson (Joan) and Carrie Jacobs. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
