He was predeceased by: his parents, James Herndon and Roberta Price Herndon; his sons, Tyrone and Antonio Herndon; and his siblings, Kathleen Carter, Cynthia Jones, Faye Jefferies, Brenda Rogers, Robert and Curtis Herndon.
He is survived by: his spouse Tracy Hairston; his siblings, Barbara Jones of Chatham, VA, Loretta Madison (Wydell) and William Herndon (Eunice); and his aunt Irene Yarbrough of Dry Fork, VA. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
