It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Boyd Owen of Chatham, Virginia, who passed away on February 4, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Cox and Willie "Bill" Smith Owen; his sister Betty Hatrick; and his close friend George Farson of Vernon Hill. He is survived by: his wife Linda Pickral Owen; his sons, Darrell T Owen (Karen) of High Point and Carroll B. Owen (Sarah) of Henry, Virginia; his brother Gene F. Owen of Blairs, Virginia; his brother-in-law Edgar B. Hatrick III of Leesburg, Virginia; his grandchildren, Greyson and Olivia Owen; and his close friends, Sarah Farson, John, Judy Dik, Jan and Brenda Soucy of Northern Maine. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
