It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sybil Stowe Byrd (Chatham, Virginia), who passed away on June 9, 2018, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Susie Mills, Flossie Elliott, Delphia Jones, Clarice Fowlkes, Jessie Jones, Jimmie Marshall, Posey Stowe and Raymond Stowe.
She is survived by: her spouse George Rison Byrd; her son Richard Byrd of Jamestown, NC; and her niece Candace Brown. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
