He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Worth Shanaberger and Genieve Dickey Shanaberger; and his spouse June Towler Shanaberger. He is survived by: his children, Cindy S. Bryant (Marvin) of Chatham, Leigh Shanaberger of Greensboro, NC and Todd Shanaberger (Katie) of Raleigh, NC; his grandchildren, Jessica Husar (David), Austin Shanaberger, Maxton Shanaberger, Ian Shanaberger and Lainey Shanaberger; and his siblings, Larry Shanaberger (Martha), Carol Blanks (Mike), Kathy Brightwell (Bobby) and Cheryl Hasson (Bob).
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Boy Scouts of America.
