He is survived by: his wife Betty Sue Williams Pruitt; his children, Elizabeth Pruitt Creasy (Barry) and John Melton Pruitt; and his grandchildren, Ashley Betterton Moon, Mark Anthony Betterton, Susan Creasy Evans (Tommy), Jessica Marie Pruitt and Rebecca Grace Pruitt.
