She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Edward Allen and Ada Shelton Allen; her siblings, Mike Allen, Edward Allen and Alice A. Floyd; and her nephew Jerry Floyd.
She is survived by: her husband Hunt Allen Meadows. She is also survived by many nieces and other family and friends.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Chatham Volunteer Fire Department or to the Java Fire Department.
