She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lewis Giles and Mary Elizabeth DeMott Giles; her husband Lawrence Donald Jessie; her daughter Susan Diane Jessie; her brothers, Leslie Giles and Larry Giles; and her daughter-in-law Trish Jessie.
She is survived by: her children, Lauren Carol Curry (Bill), Martha Elaine Jessie and David Michael Jessie; her grandchildren, Sarah Curry, Alex Curry, Danielle Prather (Jon) and Matt Jessie; and her siblings, Virginia G. Moran, Nancy G. Robertson, Glenn Giles, Ronnie Giles and Donnie Giles. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Concord United Methodist Church.
