She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmie Taylor and Ella Mae Baskin-Taylor; her sister Patricia Kay; her uncle William Baskin; her grandmother Jerelina Baskin; and her husband John Douglas McKenzie.
She is survived by: her cousins, Andrew Kelly of New York, Betty Blochett of New York and Bae Wilson of Ohio; and her siblings-in-law, Mary L. Woods of Blairs Virginia, Marie McKenzie of Danville, Dollie Wilson of Gretna, Virginia, Tommie McKenzie of Danville, Lenart McKenzie and Jimmie McKenzie of Charlotte. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
