She was predeceased by: her parents, John Witcher and Hannah Reynolds Witcher; her husband Joe Henry Starling; and her siblings, Jannie Shelton, Nannie Bell Witcher, Lizzie Brown, Addie Pannell, Willie Richard, Jonah and Dan Witcher.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Starling King (Kermit) of Callands, VA, Henry J. Starling (Mary Earlene) of Callands, VA, Walter Lee Starling of Chatham, VA and John Richard Starling of Callands, VA; and also Catherleen Dillard of Axton, VA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
