He was predeceased by: his parents, Washington Lee Shelton and Sallie Brandon Shelton; and his brother Paul Lee Shelton. He is survived by: his wife Ginger Edwards Shelton; his sons, John Allen Shelton (Wendy) and Brandon Aaron Shelton; his grandchildren, Chase Thomas Shelton and Seth Andrew Shelton; his sister Winona Roach; and his nephews, Chris Poteat and Vincent Shelton.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Hollywood Baptist Church building fund.
