It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona Conner Fuqua of Chatham, Virginia, who passed away on September 10, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Ezra Conner and Gladys Virgie Lawrence Conner; and her siblings, Gladys Mildred Dalton, Edith Haskins, Estelle Haskins and Henry Milton Conner.

She is survived by: her children, Valerie Weaver Millard (Michael) of Atlanta and Michael Bond Fuqua of Chatham; and her grandchildren, Morgan Fuqua, Amy Millard Radley and Ali Millard Ballard.
