Laughton Rowland Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laughton Rowland of Chatham, Virginia, who passed away on June 21, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Laughton Talmage Rowland, Sr. and Nora Rowland; and his brother R. C. "Boots" Rowland. He is survived by: his wife Emily "Mickey" Thomas Rowland; his children, Anthony Rowland of San Jose, CA, Talmage Rowland of Chatham, Linda VanHaaften (Steve) of Mansfield, TX and JoAnne McFaddin (Dale) of Callands; his siblings, Wesley Rowland (Velma) of Fredericksburg, Frank Rowland of Chatham and Carol Jean Lansaw of Gretna; his grandchildren, Jaclyn Holle, Mikel Rowland, Cody VanHaaften, Jordan Rowland, Nora Pruett, Lauren VanHaaften, Marykatherine Buchanan and Charlie Rowland; and his caregivers, Taneka, Veronica, Carolyn, Pam and Jessica. He is also survived by three great-grandsons.
